About Hurley

Geoffrey V. Hurley, M. Sc. has been providing environmental consulting services related to offshore oil and gas and fisheries in Atlantic Canada and abroad since 1981.

His diverse background as a senior advisor to the offshore oil and gas and fishing industries, as a research biologist with the federal government (DFO) and as an independent consultant gives him a unique perspective on the two sectors.

His expertise and professional approach to carrying out his work have earned him a high level of credibility and respect among his clients and associates in the private sector, research community, non-governmental organizations, First Nations and stakeholder groups.
